(1) In cases where the procedure according to this Act should be followed, even if the normal procedure according to other applicable laws of Nepal has been adopted without adopting the procedure according to this Act, the action taken will not be canceled for that reason alone.
(2) Other matters related to the procedures except those written in this Act and the rules made under this Act shall be in accordance with the prevailing Nepalese law in the cases to be considered in accordance with this Act.
(3) The following Nepal Acts are repealed:-
(a) In sub-section (2) of section 10 of the Statistics Act, 2015, the phrase "proceedings relating to offenses under this Act shall be carried out by vertical enquiry".
(b) the word "vertical" in section 12 of the Land Acquisition Act, 2018 and section 26.
(c) the words “vertical” in section 9, sub-section (2) of section 15 and sub-section (1) of section 56 of the Forest Act, 2018 and section 18.
(d) Sections 49, 50, 51, 53 and 54 of the Village Panchayat Act, 2018.
(e) the phrase “criminal proceedings” in section 3 of the Begging (Prohibition) Act, 2018.
(f) the phrase "by vertical investigation and other necessary action" in the restrictive phrase of sub-section (1) of section 146 of the Companies Act, 2021.
(g) in section 9 of the Highways Construction Act, 2021, from the words “and in this respect” to the words “shall”.
(h) in sub-section (2) of section 40 of the Tourism Industry Act, 2021, from the words “to be and in such case” to the words “all rights”.
(i) the word "vertical" in sub-section (2) of section 15 of the Companies Act, 2021.
(j) the words "vertical understanding" in sub-section of section 5 of the National Transport Management Act, 2026.
